Professionals
To be eligible for this category, the foreign worker must:
- Be a citizen of USA or Mexico
- Have proof of a pre-arranged employment including details of the position and educational qualifications
- Be coming to Canada to work in an eligible occupation

Intra-Company Transferees
To be eligible for this category, the foreign worker must:
- Be a citizen of USA or Mexico
- Be transferring to a Canadian enterprise that is a parent, branch, subsidiary or affiliate to the Mexico or USA company
- Be currently employed in a similar position outside Canada and for at least one year in the three-year period
- Have a job offer for an executive, managerial or specialized knowledge role
